University Circle wedding // Michelle & Nick’s film

Michelle and Nick’s wedding was a carousel of fun! The two married at the Western Reserve Historical Society. Michelle and her father walked down the outdoor courtyard aisle to meet Nick in his Marine uniform. Under a gorgeous July sky they pledged their lives to each other. After being whisked away in a vintage car they returned to get the party started inside the Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum. Surrounded by classic planes and cars they joined their super fun bridal party for dancing, fun, and yes, carousel rides! Michelle and Nick and their friends and family hopped on the 1910 Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel for lots of spins and lots of laughs! We just loved how much Nick and Michelle enjoyed each other. Their teasing, their winks, their laughs, and their sweetness made this such a lovely wedding to capture. Many, many blessings on your marriage, Nick and Michelle!

Music Box Supper Club wedding of Katie & Ryan

Imagine Katie in Ryan’s arms, forehead to forehead, underneath an historic Cleveland bridge, wind billowing Katie’s stunning dress. That sight captured the stunning feel of their wedding day. The second image we can’t forget is when their entire wedding party surrounded them at the front of the church, placed hands on them, and prayed for Katie and Ryan and their marriage. Oh, and let’s not forget all the fun laughs too! What a glorious day and a heartfelt couple. Many blessings to you both, Katie and Ryan, and on your marriage!

Country Cottage Wedding of Monica & Jeff

The setting for Monica and Jeff’s wedding day was just about as idyllic as the weather. On this gorgeous spring day, Country Cottages and Gardens was personally bedecked with antique farm equipment from Monica’s brother’s farm. From the ceremony facing the willow-laden lake, to the photos in a field, and the outdoor reception, Monica and Jeff filled their time with meaning. This was beautifully captured when they released butterflies into the sky to symbolize their desire to leave the world better than they found it. Many blessings to you both, Monica and Jeff!

Ballroom at Park Lane Wedding // Emily & Jacob

The heart of Emily and Jacob’s wedding day for us was captured in their first look. Cleveland weather, like life, is utterly unpredictable, and chilly rain forced the planned courtyard first look to be confined to the awning outside the entrance to the Ballroom at Park Lane. But despite the weather and the change of plans, when Jacob and Emily saw each other for the first time that April day, Jacob shook his head in amazement. Emily sweetly wiped a tear from Jacob’s cheek and he gently caressed her hair, still blown away by the gift of this bride that was about to become his. The weather turned from bad to worse outside that day, but the two of them just kept relishing each other-that’s a beautiful way to face life together! Many blessings to you both, Emily and Jacob!

Kylie & Colton’s Wedding

We just could not get enough of shots of Kylie and Colton in and around this little, old school house. They were just stunning in the waning light of the sun as it descended behind these rolling rural Ohio hills. Colton’s strong emotions and Kylie’s sweetness made for a wedding where their passion for each other triumphed even over the beauty of their surroundings. The only thing that matched that was their faith, which was the center of all they did that day. Many blessings on your marriage, Kylie and Colton!

Rochester, New York wedding of Mike & Becky

Our first New York wedding was a delight.  Mike and Becky married on a balmy September Saturday in a “woodland setting…situated on the Irondequoit Creek.”  With a swaying wheat field as a backdrop, they tied the knot in front of a cozy gazebo.  We loved how they simply loved being together, as evidenced by a great amount of laughter and fun!  Despite the beautiful day, all were excited to partake of the air conditioning for the reception :).  One of our favorite memories was when Becky’s mom and dad prayed over the couple-a sweet, meaningful moment.  One of many interests that Mike and Becky have in common is line dancing-and, boy, did they do lots of it, not missing a single line dance as far as we could tell.  After some lovely shots at sunset and some more dancing, the couple enjoyed s’mores in the open fire with their guests.  Many, many blessings on your marriage, Mike and Becky!

Stan Hwyet Hall and Gardens wedding of Britney & Gregg

There are few locations to get married in Ohio as majestic as Stan Hwyet, a sprawling estate built in the gilded age of the early 1910s.  This is where Britney and Gregg said their “I do’s.”  Britney and Gregg have a fun connection with us going back to the beginning of our videography.  Britney was a bridesmaid in one of our early weddings.  What a privilege to capture her day many years later. Despite the never-ceasing rain that day, Britney and Gregg just rolled with it and we got some of our favorite shots of the season.  We were constantly impressed with their willingness to rough it in the drizzle.  Along with their wonderful photographer Addison Jones, we toured up and down the grounds finding more and more lovely spots to capture Britney and Gregg’s first day as husband and wife.  Our favorite of them all was their first look, held in an enclosed garden, with a rectangular pool in the center.  As the water rippled with the rain, Britney and Gregg’s reflection on the water beautifully captured their first sight of each other that day.  Many sweet blessings to  you both, Britney and Gregg!
